How the DIY Remodeling Estimator Works

Pricing and configuring the remodeling plan that fits your home and budget couldn't be easier. We offer a wide variety of home remodeling and home improvement Express Solution packages to suit all tastes and budget ranges.

Choose a Room to Remodel:

SELECT ROOM TYPE - Selecting the room or other area of your home that you'd like to remodel couldn't be easier. Simply click on the room type or image to start creating your project estimate.

LOGIN - The creation of your login for our estimator is an important first step in the process. Your contact information is vital, of course, but providing us with your Zip code also allows us to accurately assess permitting and any other regulatory costs that may be associated with your project.

SELECT PACKAGE - We offer a wide variety of Express Solution packages to suit all tastes and budget ranges. After you've read through the summaries of our available packages, you'll need to enter the square footage of your room. This helps us provide the most accurate estimate.

SELECT PACKAGE - Once you've entered your project's square footage, just click on the "Configure This Package" button in order to select your details and options.

CONFIGURE DETAILS & OPTIONS - This page displays all of the features and optional items associated with the package you've selected.

CONFIGURE DETAILS & OPTIONS - Each feature or project option is listed as a line-item. The list is pre-populated with the default products for the package you have selected.

CONFIGURE DETAILS & OPTIONS - In most packages, you can customize your project by selecting alternative products or upgraded products for each line-item. In order to view the available alternatives, click on the "View Selections" link.

CONFIGURE DETAILS & OPTIONS - In the selection menu, you can change the specific products that will be used for your remodeling project. This gives you the ability to customize specifics like colors, styles or product brands.

CONFIGURE DETAILS & OPTIONS - Some alternate features will impact the cost of your project. The difference in the cost for each item is indicated in the right-most column of the display.

CONFIGURE DETAILS & OPTIONS - Once you've made your selection, click the close button to return to the main package screen.

CONFIGURE DETAILS & OPTIONS - Your selection will now be displayed as the new feature line-item in your package display. Any change in the project cost will be displayed at the bottom of the page in the "Price as Configured."

CONFIGURE DETAILS & OPTIONS - Some features are linked together in order to prevent unintentional selection of mis-matched product colors or styles. When you select an item with linked colors or styles, those items will automatically display a warning to let you know you'll need to update your selection.

REVIEW & SUBMIT - Once you've completed all of your feature and option selections, you're ready to send your estimate to one of our design consultants for review.

REVIEW & SUBMIT - But before you submit your package, we'll ask you to pause a moment and review. Please take one more look to make sure you've selected everything you want. If you want to make a change, click the "Cancel" button to alter any of your selections.

REVIEW & SUBMIT - Once you've verified all of your choices - just click "OK". One of our design consultants will contact you within one business day to get your project started.
